“Implementation of international and constitutional guarantees of human rights in Russian law and law enforcement practice: 25 years of cooperation within the framework of the Council of Europe ”

A representative of the Supreme School of Judges takes part in advanced training courses on the topic: “Implementation of international and constitutional guarantees of human rights in Russian law and law enforcement practice: 25 years of cooperation within the framework of the Council of Europe ” organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), the European Training Institute and the Council of Europe. This training course is truly global, as it has united expert-representatives not only from a number of countries, such as the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation and many others.

The aim of this course is to study the basic standards of international human rights norms and principles based on the experience of the Russian Federation.

The course launched on May 17, 2021 with welcoming words by Anatoly Vasilyevich Torkunov - Rector of MGIMO University, Berge Bjorn - Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Zikha Petra - Head of the Council of Europe Program Office in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Nikolaevna Moskalkova - Head of the Council of Europe Program Office.
